Exotic flowers, lush foliage, and serene faces colour my canvases. These images transport and transform the viewer. Connecting with our deep yearning for serenity, calm and wellbeing. A reminder of a tropical escape, a moment in the sun, a time to breathe, relax and rewind. I pour this wish for others into my work and hope each piece brings a renewed sense of wellbeing into each home.

I’ve been an artist all my life. After leaving high school I studied at Sydney College of the Arts, graduating with a Degree in Visual Arts. Since then I have been fortunate to have an incredibly fulfilling and varied career in the arts, painting, creating large mosaic murals, teaching, designing for a variety of jewellery companies in Sydney and Melbourne and ultimately running my own jewellery design business for 13 years. As a painter I have exhibited both nationally and internationally and my work is held in private collections around the world.

In addition to my own creative practice I’ve worked for more than 25 years in the not-for-profit sector developing, coordinating and facilitating creative/therapeutic programs. These programs are designed to assist women and children escaping domestic violence, refugees, homeless youth, families, the frail aged and many more vulnerable individuals and communities. It is the unique perspective this work has given me on the healing powers of creativity, combined with my love of the natural world that informs my art practice and fuels my passion for painting.

I look forward to opportunities to licence my work to reach more people with a desire for an increased sense of wellbeing. Having worked collaboratively with many government and non- government agencies to create large scale public art works and creative/therapeutic programs, I am skilled in the art of listening and producing creative outcomes to strict deadlines with competing agendas.
