Biography

My art is my story.
I’m a full-time artist based in Avalon Beach in Sydney. I also travel to coastal areas and am constantly exploring how landscapes impact how we feel. Typically, I paint in acrylics on either canvas or wood panel and I’m honoured that my artwork is in homes around the world. My creative process starts with a daily ritual that involves coffee, waves – and then a walk with my dog where I meditate on what I’m going to create that day.

Most people say that my paintings evoke a sense of place’. I’m particularly inspired by the ocean and beach in my work.
My drive as an artist is to capture emotion in my paintings and I usually translate that through the imagery of landscapes
