Winnie Dougall

Biography

Winnie Dougall is a designer and artist, with a passion for creativity and a love for colour. She studied textile design at RMIT University and began her design career as a textile designer with a leading commercial furnishings company in Australia. She now works from her own studio in Melbourne, and her creative interests include surface pattern design, painting large blooms on canvas, and mandala art.

Winnie’s design style is abstract, geometric and stylised, combining hand-drawn and digital techniques in her work. She is inspired by different cultures, decorative arts, nature walks, vintage textiles, travel and her surroundings.

Winnie’s wish is to bring joy to people’s lives and to make the world a more beautiful place through her creativity and art.
