Artist’s Statement

Frankie is a self-taught impressionist artist working primarily in vibrant acrylics. His art captures the beauty of the world through expressive colour, movement, and emotion. His practice spans colourful pet portraits and fine art pieces inspired by light, everyday moments, and personal connection.

With formal studies in fine arts at El Camino College and Cal State Dominguez, Frankie blends strong academic foundations with intuitive, self-led exploration. His work is guided by feeling rather than precision, allowing bold brushstrokes and rich colour to convey warmth, personality, and emotional depth.

At the heart of Frankie’s practice is a desire to spread joy. Each painting celebrates life’s beauty—transforming ordinary scenes and beloved companions into vibrant expressions of optimism, energy, and storytelling. His work invites viewers to pause, smile, and reconnect with the simple pleasures that make life meaningful.
